These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of MoyMote ("the app", "we", "us"), a Windows desktop application and companion phone control panel. By installing or using MoyMote, you agree to these Terms.

The app

MoyMote lets you adjust a connected monitor's brightness, blue light filter, HDR, contrast and power state from a phone browser on the same local network as your computer, over DDC/CI. MoyMote requires an external monitor with DDC/CI support; it does not work with a laptop's built-in screen, and not every monitor supports every control.

License

MoyMote is distributed through the Microsoft Store under a paid license with a free trial period. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use MoyMote on devices you own or control. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app outside of the Microsoft Store.

Free trial and purchase

MoyMote offers a 7-day free trial before purchase. Trial length, pricing, and billing are managed by Microsoft through the Microsoft Store under Microsoft's own terms; we do not process payments directly.

Acceptable use

You agree to use MoyMote only for its intended purpose — controlling monitor hardware you own or are authorized to control — and not to use it to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to devices or networks that are not yours.

No warranty

MoyMote is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Monitor hardware and DDC/CI behavior vary by manufacturer and model; we do not guarantee that every feature will work with every monitor. We are not liable for any damage to hardware, data, or software arising from the use of MoyMote, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MoyMote and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update MoyMote's features and these Terms over time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when the Terms change. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
