What is DDC/CI, and why does it matter?
DDC/CI is the standard MoyMote uses to send brightness, contrast, power and other commands to your monitor over the video cable. Your monitor needs to support DDC/CI for MoyMote to control it — most external monitors from the last decade do, but availability of individual controls (HDR, speaker volume) varies by model.
MoyMote can't find my monitor — what should I check?
Make sure the monitor is connected over HDMI or DisplayPort (not a dock or adapter that doesn't pass DDC/CI through), that your PC is on, and that your monitor's own menu doesn't have DDC/CI disabled — some monitors call this setting "DDC/CI" directly in their OSD menu.
My phone won't connect to the panel
Your phone and PC need to be on the same local network (the same Wi-Fi). Corporate or "guest" Wi-Fi networks sometimes block devices from seeing each other — try a home network if you're testing this at work.
